Abstract

Abstract

Regenerative endodontics represents a transformative shift in dental therapeutics, focusing on restoration of the dentin–pulp complex through biologically driven processes rather than conventional replacement strategies. This review integrates principles of stem cell biology, tissue engineering, and molecular signalling, and highlights recent advances including exosome-based therapies, advanced scaffold technologies, and gene therapy approaches. Clinical outcomes, challenges, and future directions are also discussed to provide a comprehensive overview for contemporary endodontic practice.
